As part of the BNP Paribas Group’s global corporate philanthropic mission, BNP Paribas in the United States supports local non-profit partners who champion activities that align with the Bank’s areas of focus: solidarity (serving those in need), the environment and children’s education.
Through a robust program of volunteer initiatives, BNP Paribas aims to encourage employee engagement and to support local communities where BNP Paribas is present. Partner organizations include:
- New York Cares, Jersey Cares and Chicago Cares
- Partnership For Parks: In 2015, 250 volunteers participated in 14 service projects throughout the five boroughs of New York City, planting over 10,000 plants, painting benches, and other park fixtures ; removing hundreds of bags of debris ; and completing a variety of specialty projects. - Project Sunshine: For nearly three years, employees have dedicated one Saturday each month to visiting children’s hospitals in the New City area. Our volunteers have devoted nearly 1,000 hours of their time, serving 2,500 pediatric patients and their families at St. Mary’s and other hospitals throughout New York City.
- Free Arts NYC
BNP Paribas is also an active supporter of the arts and cultural institutions across the country. Our corporate partnerships and sponsorships include the MoMA, Whitney Museum of American Art, California Academy of Sciences and the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey.
Reflecting our roots as a French bank, we sponsor a number of French institutions and programs in United States, including the French Institute Alliance Française and the annual Films on the Green Festival in New York.
