Euronext successfully merged with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) into NYSE Euronext. This was the result of 2.5 years of intense strategic reflections that included a potential purchase of the London Stock Exchange then fruitless negotiations to reach a merger of equals with Deutsche Börse.

NYSE Euronext is the largest player worldwide for equity trading and listing (listed companies have a combined market capitalisation of €21.5 trillion, including 80 of the top 100 companies listed worldwide), offering the broadest international product range in two of the world’s main currencies: the dollar and the euro.

BNP Paribas Corporate Finance acted as co advisor to Euronext in its negotiations with Deutsche Börse then the NYSE.
