The Transaction Banking division provides solutions to improve and optimize the working capital of corporate clients and financial institutions worldwide. This division encompasses four different businesses operating as a strategic unit to address core client needs:
- Global Trade Solutions is to provide clients with services and tailored solutions to mitigate risk in trade transactions, propose financing and optimize working capital management. The two main product groups are Traditional Trade and Working Capital optimization. Trade Manager position under consideration is encompassed within this division.
- Liquidity & Investment Advisory (LIA) is a product line responsible for increasing deposit volume and quality, by offering a full product continuum and a superior liquidity advisory service for the CIB corporate client base.
- International Cash Management provides solutions that enable our clients to manage and optimize their cash flows and liquidity worldwide by leveraging the BNP Paribas global network.
- Transaction Solutions for Banks supports the BNP Paribas global network and provides third-party financial institutions worldwide with comprehensive services to meet their domestic clients’ international payment and trade needs.

Responsibilities:
Reports to a Team Leader within GTS US. The position requires taking a leadership role in delivering new and/or incremental GTS revenue generating and implementing innovative solutions and further developing trade relationships with clients of the Bank.
Responsibilities include:
- As a subject matter expert, proactively identify and originate specialized inventory trade finance solutions in concert with Coverage Relationship Managers throughout the US evolving around i) Traditional Trade Solutions (Documentary LCs, Performance and Trade SBLC, Guarantees and related confirmation, discounts, etc.) and ii) Supply Chain Management Solutions (Inventory, Receivables, Payables) and Structured Trade Finance (Import Loans, Pre-Export Loans). Position will also required close coordination and collaboration with other Trade Managers, GTS Structuring and/or T&TS Product Management teams
- Determine parameters of potential transactions and propose acceptable structure. Negotiate terms with clients and prepare term sheet. Work with counsel on drafting, negotiation and execution of legal documentation. Coordinate with GTS Structuring and Portfolio Management to insure smooth handling of transactions.
- Focus on and maintain a close relationship with each client with which the position interacts with the goal of facilitating an ever deeper and expanding relationship and to address and resolve customer problems or issues should they arise.
- Cross sell Transaction Banking products including Cash Management and Liquidity whenever possible.
- Develop and maintain aggressive calling program / networking.
- Develop synergies with the Global BNPP Trade network.
- Actively contribute to product development initiatives, identification of incremental sales opportunities, preparation of sector/client strategic plans, pitches, research / analysis of market trends within the trade finance industry across Traditional Trade and Supply Chain management matters.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Expert understanding of Structured Finance / Trade Finance and Supply Chain products and services intended for clients across multiple industries with international activity.
- Expert understanding of working capital fundamentals, including solutions structuring, pitching and End-to-End implementation
- Expert understanding of Traditional Trade Solutions, in particular standby letters of credit, including structuring, client advising, facility implementation and follow up.
- Record of accomplishment in identifying and structuring complex transactions across multiple geographies and legal jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated expertise preparing and delivering marketing presentations to existing and prospective clients. Strong written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills and creativity that can be translated into financial structures with an emphasis on mitigating credit and transaction risks under various trade financing structures.

Responsibilities:
ABS Credit Management VP will be senior member of ABS Credit Management team, working closely with the head of ABS Credit Management on the full credit process including training and managing junior headcount located in Lisbon, Portugal.
- Transaction Management:

Key Responsibilities: Sales Support and Client Account Management
- Support the Client Relationship Manager as a key point of contact for the Official Institution client base.

Business Overview:
As 2nd Line of Defense function and delegated by the Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) Audit Committee, Sec Corp. Board of Directors, and management, the Finance Control Group (“FCG”) is responsible for assessing an Internal Control for Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) and Internal Control over Compliance (“ICOC”) process (collectively US Broker Dealer Regulatory Controls). Main aspects of the program are to:
- Perform risk identification and assessment over financial statements (ICFR) and regulatory reports (ICOC)
- Conduct walkthrough, tests of design and tests of operating effectiveness over in-scope process and controls

Responsibilities:
For this position, specific responsibilities will be to assess the organization for internal control of the various requirements for broker-dealer specific regulatory reporting. In addition to these responsibilities, she/he will be required to coordinate and contribute to the SEA 17a-5 and IHC ICFR FCG’s control programs and monitor the Control Framework to comply with U.S. local regulatory requirements.
Operationally, and as part of the Finance Control Group, for all aspects of control programs related to 17a-5 broker-dealer regulatory reporting requirements, key duties / elements of the work include the following:
- Coordinate with U.S. local and oversea teams to execute control programs in accordance with SEA 17a-5 and COSO requirements.
- Enhance the local regulatory control framework by assisting Broker Dealer & Global Market Operations teams to identify and document controls in place or to be implemented
- Perform risk assessment and identify key controls in accordance with the U.S. local regulatory requirements such as SEA 17a-5 and COSO control framework
- Identifying key processes, risks, and controls surrounding ICFR, broker-dealer regulatory reporting
- Performing walkthrough, reviewing risk and control matrices, and assessing control gaps, if any
- Coordinating with other team members (including those from offshore testing center and other control units) and contributing to tests of controls, and assess and communicate control findings to managers
- Identification of control weakness/control gap and suggestion/implementation of solutions
- Coordination with Control / Process Owners, and other stakeholders regarding control documentation, testing, and evaluation.
- Coordination with external auditors for both a reliance program, where FCG’s testing work papers are relied upon in lieu of detailed independent testing from the auditor, and streamlining information sharing to satisfy annual audit requirements
- Contribute and involve in various projects and initiatives which FCG manages, including digital / innovation and other FCG’s workflows (such as, financial reporting, data, bank regulatory reporting).
