Responsibilities: 

  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the BNP Paribas North America Wholesale activities, through audits, risk assessments and continuous monitoring activities as they relate to Information Technology, Information Security, and Data Management controls, ensuring business objectives regulatory expectations are met, and risks are sufficiently mitigated
  • Perform risk-based audits, based on a thorough understanding of the processes and risks associated with both current and emerging technologies, and on a precise assessment of the adequacy and completeness of the GRC, both from a design and effectiveness standpoint
  • Evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of Bank policies, procedures, and internal controls as they relate to the Information Technology infrastructure and Business Application Systems as per the terms of the Inspection Générale Audit charter and guidelines of the Bank
  • Follow audit professional standards and regulatory requirements in the performance of the day-to-day functions of internal auditor
  • Perform audits of Information Technology operating procedures and processing systems, test operating procedures and processing systems through the performance of detailed fieldwork, examine and evaluate results, assess adequacy of controls, communicate results, and direct follow-up efforts
  • Review work papers with particular focus on documentation and analysis to support findings
  • Prepare draft findings and recommendations and follow up on findings to ensure that the appropriate corrective actions were taken by reviewing and validating supporting evidence
  • Maintain the audit universe and timely update the corresponding risk assessments, supported by a dynamic and documented Continuous Risk Monitoring (CRM) practice, including CRM over the portfolio of IT projects
  • Maintain a close relationship with the BNP Paribas NAR audit teams and Group Inspection Générale IT audit domain, and interact with Bank’s regulators for any matter in scope

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Head of Corporate Access, Americas and other internal teams to originate access opportunities and grow our pipeline of activity YoY.
  • Coordinate with corporates, analysts, sales, banking and ECM teams to manage and execute on all US product marketing, including but not limited to non-deal roadshows; conferences; virtual roadshows and other events; ad hoc conference calls; and inbound requests from investors
  • Organize all logistics, maintain streamlined communication with corporates and other key stakeholders, and manage roadshow timelines both internally and externally as primary roadshow manager

Responsibilities: 

The current role is for an Events Roadshow Coordinator will be supporting priority clients and Global Banking & Markets Front Office personnel. The Roadshow Coordinator will work on a day-to-day basis with the Front Office to build out schedules and organize interactions with investors and issuers. Furthermore, our Roadshow Coordinator is expected to demonstrate exceptional organization skills and creativity while managing and maintaining supplier relationships. This position also requires the ability to reconcile roadshow costs in a timely manner and work with accounts to ensure timely and accurate client invoicing.

  • Manage all aspects of a number of roadshows, from conception to completion (physical and online client roadshows)
  • Coordination of Deal and Non-Deal Roadshows and marketing processes including air/hotel/car logistics
  • Coordination of Lender Meetings (e.g. new issue, amendment, extension) for Pro Rata and Institutional Loans
  • Coordinate and support non-deal roadshows for our M360/Economists team

Responsibilities: 

The portfolio of clients consists mostly of high yield corporate clients and LBOs in the REGAL and E&C sectors. Strong projection modeling and excel skills are required, as well as the ability to fluently navigate complex credit agreements and structures. In the role, the individual will be involved in conducting credit analysis for prospects, at origination, and during the entire client lifecycle in a hybrid origination / portfolio management role.  The Credit Analyst will interact and develop strong relationships with Risk partners, Delegation Holders, Bankers (i.e., Coverage) and Product Teams (among others, FX, IRD, Commodity, Equity, Global Trade Solutions, Loan Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance Teams) including coordinating the credit process amongst the various Product and Risk teams to ensure an efficient and smooth turnaround of transactions.

Managing corporate and LBO client relationships from a credit perspective, including the following: 

  • Prepare credit proposals for live transactions in a deadline driven environment, including new client originations, M&As, underwritings, refinancings, and amendments in the REGAL and/or E&C sectors.
  • Coordinating the credit process with coverage, product, and risk teams to ensure efficient turnaround of transactions.
  • In credit proposals, conduct the structural/terms analysis, industry analysis, historical financial analysis, valuation analysis, and prepare/update projection models, while providing the key risks and mitigants.
  • Monitor the credit quality of a portfolio of assigned high yield, sponsor-owned, and investment-grade clients, including completing annual reviews and regular monitoring. 
  • Present transactions/clients in Credit Committee and formal monitoring meetings (Quarterly Sector Reviews / Watch List). 
  • Become an expert in the industries covered by reviewing press releases, news articles, industry data, ratings reports, etc. 
  • Participate in client calls (including bank meetings) as needed for due diligence on prospects and assigned client names.

The Head of Procurement for CIB North America responsible for Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, External Spend Category Management, Supplier Diversity Program and External Spend Analytics. 

Leadership

Global Procurement Alignment

  • Negotiations with a target savings model driving RFXs whenever possible, negotiations and contracting for materials and services to reduce cost and leverage spend. Follow-up at various levels (locally, regionally & globally) for getting necessary approvals before finalizing RFP/SOW with suppliers.
  • Design, develop, and implement Procurement KPIs to effectively measure and manage the impact of strategic spend initiatives proactively and transparently.

Responsibilities: 

The Analyst EQD Sales Assistant’s main role & responsibilities fall into three main categories:

  • Risk/Position Monitoring and Trade Execution
    • Develop and understand how to monitor trading positions and risks for accuracy throughout the day.
    • Coordinate Novations with EQD Sales Desks to ensure deals are properly reflected in Risk.
    • Send pricing and Indications to specified clients.
  • Analytical and Operational Support to EQD Sales Desks
    • Book, process and validate trades in Front Office booking systems as soon as deals are executed, so that Bank’s risk/position is updated real-time and applicable regulatory obligations (Dodd Franck, EMIR, FINRA, etc) are met.  Ensure term sheets are properly drafted and trade recaps sent to clients for deals.

Responsibilities: 

Loan Solutions Activity

·       Act as both main and secondary contacts for Client relationships on the Loan Solutions US service delivery across both Loan & Collateral Administrations platforms as required. 

·       Oversee the service delivery completed in Loan Solutions Portugal, ensuring the service is of a high standard and on time, monitoring in accordance with SLA and prevailing governance.
