The Equity Derivatives Structuring (Americas) is a multi-disciplinary team, centrally positioned within Global Markets Americas.
 
 The Equity Derivatives Structuring Structuring team focuses on:
 
 • Pricing, designing and transacting in financial derivatives, including advanced derivatives, as well as Quantitative Investment strategies and specific wrappers (swaps, structured notes, funds).

•Understanding market dynamics deeply with a view to find appealing investment strategies. Positioning those strategies with regards to market flows. Having a deep understanding of Exotics and Flow book positioning to understand how those strategies fit within the book.

 • Acting as derivatives product specialists and generating quantitative analyses to answer requests by salespeople, traders and clients on such products, or initiate product ideas with salespeople, traders and clients.
 
 • Researching designing and creating innovative derivatives products and quantitative investment strategies for clients.
 
 • Marketing and creating marketing materials to present such innovative derivatives products and quantitative investment strategies for clients.
 
 • Creating, programming and improving quantitative tools and software to perform the above structuring functions.
 
 • Collaborating closely with functions on business related to equity derivatives or quantitative financial products: credit risk, market risk, compliance, legal, marketing and other teams as needed.

Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate at the Vice President level will have a strong focus on the structuring of financial instruments with a primary focus on Complex Flow. The candidate will have a deep understanding on Equity Derivatives ecosystem and have a proven track record of deep technical understanding.

The candidate will design solutions, negotiate their pricing, represent them fairly to hedge fund portfolio managers, asset managers, pension fund managers.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

· At least 4year experience in Equity Derivatives Structuring,

· Strong technical skills including high proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and VBA.
 
 · Strong coding& programming skills in languages such as Python, R and/or Matlab.
 
 · Thorough understanding of financial derivatives and stochastic calculus.
 
 · Strong Science or Engineering background, preferably Master’s Degree in a quantitative or business relevant field.

Responsibilities: 

The Analyst EQD Sales Assistant’s main role & responsibilities fall into three main categories:

  • Risk/Position Monitoring and Trade Execution
    • Develop and understand how to monitor trading positions and risks for accuracy throughout the day.
    • Coordinate Novations with EQD Sales Desks to ensure deals are properly reflected in Risk.
    • Send pricing and Indications to specified clients.
  • Analytical and Operational Support to EQD Sales Desks
    • Book, process and validate trades in Front Office booking systems as soon as deals are executed, so that Bank’s risk/position is updated real-time and applicable regulatory obligations (Dodd Franck, EMIR, FINRA, etc) are met.  Ensure term sheets are properly drafted and trade recaps sent to clients for deals.

Responsibilities:

Providing services to senior leaders of Finance & Tax, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Calendar management which includes planning meetings, resolving agenda conflicts, and making the best use of the time of the managers
  • Expense management and submission for multiple managers

Business Overview:

The U.S. Financial Security Transaction Monitoring and Investigation (“TMI”) case investigator is responsible for reviewing alerts escalations, reporting on potential suspicious activities identified via internal and external triggers, manual and automated triggers, including but not limited to AML/CFT negative news, fraud, sanctions, KYC, and terrorist financing/human trafficking matters. He/she is in charge of investigating transactions stemming from such referrals, as well as interacting with multiple levels of the bank to mitigate risk and supporting the oversight of the BNP Paribas 1st Line of Defense (“1LOD”). The case investigator will also handle a variety of processes, including legal requests (subpoenas), FINCEN regulatory processes, and law enforcement communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in depth case investigations pertaining to potential financial crime concerns such as AML, bribery, corruption, terrorist financing/human trafficking, etc, to mitigate regulatory, reputational, and compliance risk for the bank.
  • Conduct investigations stemming from a variety of internal and external referrals, including clients and affiliate fraud, internal employee misconduct, sanctions related matters and circumvention attempts, and AML/CFT red flags.
  • Interact with all lines of business and affiliates to resolve issues as appropriate and determine whether the activity is deemed suspicious.
  • Prepare investigative reports with findings after a review of relevant documentation, including drafting Suspicious Activity Reports (“SARs”).

·       Review monthly AML/CFT/Red flags reports to identify potentially suspicious activity.

·       Participate in monthly calls with branch affiliates and key stakeholders as needed.

·       Participate in a variety of regulatory and legal processes, including FinCEN 314(a), 314(b), 311 special measures, civil and grand jury subpoenas, and law enforcement information sharing and backup documentation requests.

·       Assist colleagues and TMI Management in other special projects involving transactions relating to, for example; cryptocurrency, Money Service Businesses (“MSB”), Payment Service Providers (“PSP”) and entities operating in the cannabis industry.

·       Keep informed on laws, regulations, and current practices pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

·       Support senior management with development and rollout of other TMI initiatives and projects.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

·       Undergraduate Degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field.

·       3 – 5 years’ experience in transaction surveillance including model validation.

·       Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint skills required.

·       Strong capability with data analytics/manipulation programs and concepts.

·       Strong technical and analytical skills required.

·       Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       ACAMS, ACFE, ACFCS, ACFS certifications preferred.

·       Experience and knowledge of BSA/AML and Sanctions issues is preferred.

·       Experience with Correspondent Banking and Capital Markets is preferred.

·       Experience with Actimize strongly preferred.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $85,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
